Day Hike to Jogini Falls
A serene one-day hike from Vashist to Jogini Falls is a highlight near Manali.
The 3 km route starts behind Vashist temple and takes you through charming villages, apple orchards, and pine forests with stunning views of the Beas River valley. The trek to the waterfall base is considered beginner-friendly, and the round trip typically takes 4-5 hours. Visit the 150-foot waterfall and the sacred Jogini Mata temple. The best time to visit is from March to June or September to November.
Visit to Old Manali
A peaceful forest walk from Vashisht to Old Manali takes you from temples to charming lanes.
The scenic trail starts from Vashisht village and leads downhill through dense forests, passing through the quaint Bahang village. You’ll cross the Beas River on a rustic wooden bridge before arriving at the cobblestone streets and vibrant cafes of Old Manali. The path offers a lovely escape into nature with authentic village views.
